Cater To You..

Windsor tee and skirt c/o | ASOS belt (alternative) | F21 sunglasses (love these) | Zara bag (alternative here and here) | Lauren Marinis shoes (for less options, here and here)

At first glance, I loved this floral midi skirt but was a little hesitant about it because for me, it was a little girly.. and my style is not so much that.  I like a little edge :) While I couldn’t pass up this skirt, I chose to dress it down with my favorite go to, a white tee.  I have a drawer dedicated to just tee’s only (just so you can understand how much I love them/how often I wear them), this tee was a little different with the drapery at the top which made it a little more fancier and a great fit for this skirt, add in a camel color belt with everything else black and I’m all set.  A little edge, a little something unexpected.. that’s how you make garments work and cater to you ;)

Sometimes, less is more.  Never one to shy away from an all white head-to-toe look, so it was nice to add something a little different to my wardrobe with this long tee with side slits vs my regular go to tee’s.  I love the dramatic and flowy length paired on top of a pair a jeans, a simple look + this gorgeous statement clutch (which was designed by my sister, make sure to check out her site —

Fall Beauty Trends

MAC ‘Sin‘ lipstick + MAC ‘Nightmoth‘ lip pencil // MAC ‘Viva Glam Rihanna 2‘ lipstick + MAC ‘Cork‘ lip pencil

Wearing: H&M top (alternative) and scarf (alternative)

With the change in seasons, not only do you need to update your wardrobe but your beauty products as well! For majority of summer, I stuck to nude lipsticks and glosses, kept things minimal.  With fall quickly approaching, I like to update and incorporate darker shades and mine just so happen to be the burgundy’s, plum, red’s and brown’s.  So I was excited when Nordstrom approached me to share some of my favorite beauty trends for fall season.

Loving all things fall that Nordstrom is carrying in their beauty department, from exclusive collections to limited editions, it’s hard to go in there and walk away with just one thing or the only thing you intended to buy.  I know I usually get suckered into buying more, went in for 1 thing came out with 4 things.  For me, I prefer to only wear lipstick with lip pencils, to keep things clean and in line.

New to my fall beauty collection are the Sin and Viva Glam Rihanna 2 lipsticks with corresponding lip pencil shades — a little color and still stuck with a neutral shade (darker color).  I was a little hesitant about purchasing a shade closer to my skin complexion but I love the subdued touch with a little shimmer for those days/nights you want to keep it simple and when I do want to spice things up a bit, I have Sin to bring out the fun!

Other makeup worn: Oil Control Lotion, Natural Radiance Primer, Studio Fix Fluid Foundation,  Blot Powder
