Fall 2026 Handbags
Putting together a complete look is a head-to-toe process—from your hair and makeup to your clothes, shoes, and accessories. You can be wearing a great outfit and still feel like something is off. The wrong shoes can throw off the entire look, or you may simply not have the right accessories or handbag to pull everything together. If your goal is to look polished and put together, your accessories have to feel just as intentional as the clothes you're wearing.
As we transition into fall, it's time to put away summer straw and raffia bags and bring in the season's deeper, richer colors.
Black is always the obvious choice. It's easy, it works with everything, and most of us already own one. But if you're looking to give your wardrobe a more current, seasonal feel this fall, I'd reach for a rich brown instead.
Brown is still a neutral, which means it can work across your entire fall wardrobe, but it adds so much more warmth and richness to an outfit. From deep chocolate and espresso to cognac, you have plenty of shades to choose from, depending on what works best with the colors you wear.
And brown isn't your only option. If you want a fall color that's a little less expected, try olive—an understated neutral that looks especially rich this time of year. Navy suede is another beautiful option, along with camel or even mustard if you want your handbag to add a little more color to your look.
Whichever style and color you settle on, consider doing something a little different this season instead of automatically reaching for the safe choice: black.
